Professional Application: The above example is a professional application of utilizing an infographic. As an AP teacher, part of my job is helping students prepare for the AP exam. I had already planned on simplifying and summarizing the information from CollegeBoard on taking Digital Exams; creating an infographic made it easier to further simply information. It also allowed me to explore embedding public Google Calendar links.

But this is a very specific application. I despise CollegeBoard, and I don't see myself making infographics for them. My other professional application would be to make infographics for my classrooms and extracurriculars: Theater, AVID, US History, AP US History (content and writing), Senior Seminar, Speech and Debate, Model UN, Link Crew, TEDx, etc. As we learned this week from Mayer, infographics can play a vital role in conveying information.
